last few weeks.... i was thinking of a dessert to share with. Just pop-ups in my mind something with chocolate. Coklat.... banyak hmm... yummy... so i try english bread n butter pudding b4. so y not cuba chocolate bread n butter pudding. in the process melayer roti tu... tetiba teringat ada leftover cooking chocolate.... dari membazir... so i chunk the chocolate n put a layer between the chocolate layer..... turn out so good.... my eyes rolling when i taste it even without the sauce.... n the sauce also from leftover white chicolate i have.... hmmm... itss sooo good.
ingredients :
15 slice chocolate bread ( i use gardenia chocolate raisin)
50 g soft butter
1 cup raisin / black raisin
1 cup chocolate chips (i use cooking chocolate cut into small cube)
1/2 tsp grated cinnamon
350 ml fresh milk
50 ml double cream / pure cream
2 large egg
method :
1. Preheat oven at 180 C
2. Heat milk and cream over medium heat.
3. Mix egg and spice. beat until mix well.
4. Pour milk into egg n stir until all combine. set aside
5. Cut bread into half. grease butter to both side of bread (all bread) and arrange bread into a grease baking pan - overlapping the bread.
6. Sprinkle with raisin and chocolate chips.
7. Arrange bread for another layer.
8. sprinkle raisin n chocolate chips.
9. pour egg-milk mixture onto bread evenly and let rest for 10 minutes to let all the liquid absorb by bread.
10 . bake for 40 - 45 minutes.
